First to Paddle the Entire Length of the Rivanna River in One Day

We will soon be coming up on the 10-year anniversary of this event.

That can only mean one thing. If the river gives us flood conditions again in the Spring #PaddlingBuddyDave and I will do it again the next day when the river is just dropping off flood stage. Otherwise, under normal river conditions at typical water levels, this trip is highly unlikely for most people and recreational paddlers.

Dave and I are seasoned, experienced kayak paddlers who are trained for kayak racing and we chronically prepare and train for these epic adventures over long distances. Casual/recreational paddlers should not try this.

By the way, this kayak did serve me well in my first 100-mile James River Rundown adventure race.
