Crosswind Cup Race 2023

I’ll let the video do most of the talking, but it was great to be back at the Richmond/Crosswind Paddle Cup race this past Saturday on the James River. Although they no longer offer the 22-mile race, which had become a staple on my race calendar, I still try to support as many Virginia paddle sport events as I can so I entered this year in the 5-mile race.

It is a well-organized event and I’d love to see more kayak and surfski paddlers there next year to ramp-up the competition.
