Summary of my 2018 training in charts, numbers, and videos

I significantly increased the total volume I did in the gym in 2018 and exceeded my goal.  Although my paddling miles dropped a bit in 2018, it is not surprising given the fact that I did a 120-mile race in 2017 but no such ultra marathon in 2018.

I augmented my gym training by joining Planet Fitness so I have a place to train on the road in addition to my local fitness center and the training equipment in my basement.  As I stated in an earlier post, joining PF was a pleasant surprise and I’m sorry I pre-judged them.
