Buoy Turn #2 at the 2019 Pittsburgh Paddlesport Championships

This little inside move just after the second buoy turn moved me up several spots to be running with the leaders

I made a little, quick cut to the inside after rounding the buoy and was able to pass several paddlers to then battle it out for 4th place for much of the rest of the race.

A few paddlers went so wide that they don’t even appear in this photo.

Remarkable that this made the television news in Pittsburgh, PA that day.
