Mountain Biking as Cross-Training

In an attempt to become more active rather than less active during this pandemic, I’ve rediscovered my love for mountain biking and I’ve been getting out several time per week after work.

Here are a few slices from my ride earlier this evening.

I’ve been averaging about 5-6 miles per outing.  It is a great way to work my legs now that I don’t have access to a gym and the most I can work my legs is by doing 50 lb kettlebell sumo squats, sub-150 lb calf raises, and/or going for hikes and riding bikes.

I also recently found a reasonably good bike mount for my smartphone and did a review of it.
