The organizers of this race, The Rivanna Conservation Alliance, have decided to drop this race, not just this year, but permanently as of April 24, 2024.
Come paddle with me! The organizers need at least 20 people registered before Monday or this race is in danger of being cancelled.
We are also looking for volunteers to help keep this canoe and kayak race in Charlottesville, VA alive and well, well into the future. One or two sponsors to support this race would make a world of difference!
