With a beautiful 80-degree day in Central Virginia, I hit Gold’s Gym and then hopped on the bike to do some sunset cardio. It was the first time I’ve been on the bike for at least a month or two.
In the gym I did chest press, dumbbell flyes, rows, and lat pulldowns for a 58 minute workout with short rests in between sets. I did not try to max out any weights, but I lifted my already-established max weights after a few warm-up sets and then backed off the weights to get more reps and more sets. I intended to do squats, but the squat racks were busy the whole time I was there.
After a brief recovery I hopped on the bike for 15 miles and caught a beautiful sunset.
Sometimes I forget how lucky I am to live in Central, VA.
Oh, and a Fat Head Pizza tonight for dinner as I watched Game #5 of the World Series.
