The MorePro health/fitness tracker with continuous heart rate and blood pressure measurements
As many of my readers are aware, I’ve become somewhat of a fitness technology reviewer.
Not because I set out to become one but because I started reviewing fitness technology I use in my own training and as a result companies have reached out to me to offer review units in exchange for fair and honest reviews.
It has also become one of the very few ways I have to monetize this niche blog about kayaking and fitness.
I am honest with my reviews and always try to keep in mind the value of the product in relation to the price of the product.
As a result of seeing some of my other reviews on YouTube and this blog, MorePro (more-pro.com) reached out to me and asked if they could provide me a review unit in exchange for a fair and honest review.
I’m at the point now that unless a fitness tracker does or has something unique, I’m not really inclined to invest my time and effort into reviewing it. Let’s face it, it takes a fair amount of time and effort to use a product for a while, get to know its features, and then do a full review.
So I asked MorePro what was different about their fitness tracker and they replied with 2 keys features that immediately caught my attention: waterproof and blood pressure measurements.
Sounded to me like it was worth a review.
I’ll let you watch my video review below, but the bottom line is I am very impressed by this watch in the sub-$50 fitness tracker category. The app is solid, the features are solid, battery life is very good and the tracker performs very well under a variety of conditions.
I’m especially impressed with its ability to continuously monitor both heart rate and blood pressure and I think its sleep tracking abilities are far above average.
The single-button functionality is extremely easy and intuitive and the color display is attractive and easily readable in a variety of environments.
It is one of the best devices for less than $50 I’ve evaluated.
