This is an outstanding book for those into kayak racing who already have a solid foundation in the basics of skinny K1 racing boats or skis. The author goes into great technical detail on how to move one’s body during kayak paddling to get maximum power and efficiency from each stroke.
And I mean technical detail.
If you are an elite kayaker or highly competitive kayaker who obsesses about how to improve your stroke and body movements to maximize power and speed then this is an outstanding book. You’ll think you took a few lessons from an Olympic trainer.
If you are anyone else, you will wonder who in the world would care so much about paddling a silly little boat.
Only true kayakers will understand.
